Port Harcourt Chamber of commerce has congratulated the Chairman of Agriculture and Agro-Allied Trade Group of PHCCIMA, and MD/CEO of Kefo Suites, Surv. Emmanuel Ogbonda on the remarkable unveiling of his Hotel/hospitality brand, Kefo Suites in Port Harcourt. President of Port Harcourt Chamber of Commerce, Chief Nabil Saleh ably represented by the 1st Deputy President, Chief Mike Elechi gave this commendation during the official opening of Kefo Suites at Woji Town in Port Harcourt. He said Surv Ogbonda is a valuable member of PHCCIMA who has remained active, vibrant and result-oriented, adding that the recent completion and opening of the hotel did not come as a surprise, but rather is a reflection of his consistency and tenacity to succeed, and a huge accomplishment of some of his set objectives as a businessman. "Our President is unavoidably absent, but PHCCIMA executives, invaluable members, and staff are here in their numbers to identify, support and felicitate with one of our own for this monumental achievement", he was quoted as saying. Having diversified into the hospitality space, the PHCCIMA helmsman advised Ogbonda to adapt quickly and effectively to the primary market to increase efficiency while simultaneously boosting revenue. He urged him to build relationships, operational efficiency, tackle customers-need and lay emphasis on record management He noted that most hotels go underground after 3 years, stressing that Surv Ogbonda and his team must be at the top of their game to be more relevant in the scheme and attract more patronage. On his part, Chairman Obio-Akpor local government Council, Solomon Eke, assured all business owners operating within the axis, that he is working in line with Governor Nyesom Wike’s security strategy to ensure Obio-Akpor is safe for investors and residents. He, however, stressed that he has zero tolerance for criminality, gangsterism, cultism and the social vices in the LGA.
