As part of pre-event to herald the upcoming 2019 Port Harcourt International Trade Fair, the NACCIMA Youth Entrepreneurs, PHCCIMA chapter visited the Government Crafts Development Centre Port Harcourt to mentor students on the ideals of entrepreneurship, encourage creative innovations of students of the school and provide window for some of these creative-minded students to take advantage of the upcoming trade fair to showcase their creativity. The event which forms part of the NYE, PHCCIMA chapter special youth day at the 2019 Port Harcourt International Trade Fair tagged: ‘Let’s Do Business 2019’ initiative slated for the 12rh of December 2019. Speaking to the PHCCIMA media, the PHCCIMA coordinator of NYE, Mr. Bobby Elechi said building the economy of a nation lies strongly on the shoulders of the youths of that nation. Nigeria has been blessed with plenty of human resources and the onus lies on the people to maximize the use of these potentials, hence out a visit to this cradle of learning where we have young dynamic minds to mentor and spur them on development of the spirit of enterprise. He said NYE will be launching the maiden edition of ‘Let’s Do Business 2019’ initiative at the 2019 trade fair with the cardinal objective to refocus and imbibe the spirit of entrepreneurship into Nigerian youths. The event witnessed interactive with the students, sighting of some of their creative innovations and refreshment. In the delegation together with the NYE PHCCIMA Coordinator were Deputy NYE Coordinator, Iloedipe Ogbokuma, Treasurer, Vivian Segun, Secretary Precious, and other NYE, PHCCIMA chapter members.
